Play like a Giant

A fire burns deep within,
I am not sure where
 the wick begins.

It makes me want to run
 without ever stopping,
climb a mountain
and start shouting,
with only my echo
to surround me.

To dance in the forest in
the pouring rain,
when the sun is warmest,
sit in a field of grain.

Laugh out loud when
 everyone is silent,
build a tree house and
play like a giant.

Leave footprints in the sand
 and dive into the ocean,
arms outstretched,
  fly like a kite
 in motion.
