Day 2

He seemed like an ordinary man,

not many people did even understand,

the beautiful things that He said,
"I am the door... the Way.. the Living Bread".

He wasn't any threat,

how, how can Jesus be dead?

He said something about being a "King",

 but to me looked more like a homeless guy. 

I have to ask why, why did they kill Him?

He was innocent of any crime,

 but rather  took the time, to see the invisible,

 the despicable, this made Him so unpredictable,

 but He is dead and I thought He was invincible.

They treated Him like a monster

 because He always talked about His Father,

 I saw this was His honor,

 because He wore love like it was armor.

He never condemned the guilty, 

but forgave the sins of the filthy.

When they accused Him, He refused to answer back, 

they slapped Him, but He was like, as a Lamb, 

 fully trusting the ultimate plan.

At the end, He couldn't even stand

 and yet they beat Him again and again.

He had courage, unlike any other man.

Now His body is sealed in a tomb,

 the fog weighs heavy like a rightful doom.

For a reward not His own, the pain to bear alone,
 He paid the highest price,

For this 'ordinary' man, 

yes, He was the Christ.
