great opportunity, and great theology.
But as I watch the sunrise over the Grand Canyon
or a shooting star flash over the endless sea
I ask is there yet "Something Greater"
intended for you and me?
As children we all have hopes growing up to be able to achieve our dreams. Dreams, not as physical accomplishments or practical goals but rather the hope that the idealistic imagination of happiness would become a present reality.
Little did I know as a child that all such dreams would actually be realized in my life. My name is Elizabeth Woroniecki and I would love to share with you the source of all my joy. It comes from "Something Greater" than any achievement, recognition or position this world has to offer. His name is Jesus.
The stories of mystery and laughter, adventure and challenge that fill my life confirms both the call and answer to "Something Greater" than the small priority of mere existence on this earth.
My father, Michael Woroniecki(whom I prefer to call "Daddy") has taught me above all else what it is to cultivate a heart for Jesus. He has shown me what it is explore the "depth, width, length and breadth of God's love (Eph.3:20). I have watched him sit besides a homeless boy on the dirty streets of Warsaw, Poland and stand before Generals of the Colombian army. He has taught me the power of humility and the victory of transparency of both the cost of Truth and the reward of living in Reality(Jn.18:37). In this generation of preachers promoting their doctrine, and 'pastors' selling their "church", Michael Woroniecki is a son consumed with sharing the love of his Father. He is the most compassionate father, patient teacher and incredible friend any daughter could imagine. Yeah, he is my hero.
I speak fluent Spanish and Portuguese and am currently studying Japanese being motivated to find whatever words I can to communicate things beyond the limits of any language. How do you express hope to a prisoner with a life sentence or offer comfort to an orphan who has never known a home? The truth is no matter the severity of what someone may be dealing with, it is not outside the reach of God's redemption or forgiveness. No matter the suffering, whether it be physically, mentally, emotionally or financially Jesus can bring healing. The work of the cross accomplished "Something Greater" than any man could ever fathom. Far beyond the obligation to any "church", moral life style or religious entity. Jesus offers profound yet practical answers to anyone willing to seek Him with a 'childlike' heart(Matt.11:25).
to ignite even a small flame of fire.
To be both a messenger and translator
To beckon all to discover "Something Greater"
