side of Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles.
The people who walk in darkness
Will see a great light;
Those who live in a dark land,

He came to the world of strangers
with all kinds of dangers,
the Son of God, as a little baby born into a manager.
There was no room for Him in the space of an inn,
No comfort of a bed for the Son of Man to lay His head.
In the cold of night to the sound of a donkeys bray,
The Savior of the world fell asleep on some hay.
So obscure was the greatest night on earth,
This Majesty King would offer rebirth.
In Jesus all sin forgiven, the burden of life lifted,
The Father's love fully gifted,
"unto us a Son is given..."
